Fanart: Working through the backlog...
I made some tiny fanart! Really tiny, none of the pictures bellow is more than 10cm on the side.
I'm working through my personal backlog of memes and trades... actually the first two are still from last year's Valentine's Day Trade Game.

The book they were reading fell of the couch when they fell asleep?

Medium: Pencil and markers on paper.

It's a bit happier than the atmosphere of the fic, but I got a sense of hope reading the end and this is what I could come up with.
Medium: Markers on paper.
Also I finished two from the The Drawing Meme.

EDIT: I forgot there was some text I wrote for this...
J: OK, OK, she's eating now.
R: You owe me *big*. And also, hahahaha.
I am guessing it is either Babysitter!AU or that is John's third niece.

I am so very fond of Rodney's hat and goggles!

That said, do you mean "G-rated" when you say "Gen" there? Because the images look plenty shippy to me (♥), not at all like what's considered manly friendship.

That is what happens when I overuse the copy/paste... the only Gen one is the one of John and the baby... :(
I am glad you like it! For the last 3 I was testing out my new black markers, I like the effect, it is so crisp and clear, totally different from the first one.
I seem to spend a lot of my time drawing John and Rodney cuddling. I love my boys. :)

Always a good idea to try new techniques and materials, definitely!

I am glad you like the colors! They look so different than watercolors.

and yes it's Rodney's hand on John's hip that totally makes it for me!!
and the squishy one....you do realise not drawing hands makes it all more tempting for me! (Rodney's are totally curled up in john's belt loops)
Poor John, baby sitting, I love his harried look
Heeee steapunk (John totally mocks Rodney's hat from time to time just to rile him up)
AWESOME Hun...and yes I am aware I owe you shopping!john and rodney

Rodney's are totally curled up in john's belt loops.
It's their natural place to be! They are *always* there... it their default position *every time* I don't draw them.
John babysitting would be *hilarious*! He would think he could totally do it and the kids would slowly drive him *insane*. And then he'd call Rodney on his pink phone and Rodney would talk him through it.
Of course the hat would be mocked... but then Rodney would say things like "I will build you a flying *city*" and John would be all *_*
Don't worry about the trade, as soon as you can, even next year is fine! That way I don't feel pressured to finish your stuff... *that you haven't given me a prompt for...*

*nods* everytime, it's my special vision, I always see it
heheheheeh *grin* Cadman totally bought Rodney that phone to spite him
Yes John would be too amused by the hat
and um....yeah...the prompt *whistles*

Could I interest you in the continued adventures of Laura and Ronon?

Markers are more difficult to manage than watercolors, mostly because you cannot water them down for shades, so you have many strong colors instead of the soft one I prefer when making watercolors. But the are so fast! You don't have to wait long for them to dry! You don't have to clean 10 brushes afterwards...
Anyway, I love the first one too, even if it is a little dirty because I just colored my original sketch and the markers kept rubbing the pencil wrong. It looks so soft though, and it fits the mood.

I sort of fell into bandom myself... by accident (I was reading a web comic that turned out to be a bandom fancomic... but because I wouldn't have known bandom people if you hit me with them, I HAD NO IDEA AND THEN I WAS HOOKED). I think maybe there was a conspiracy... and you were involved! :)
I am still trying to get a feel for the boys (It is way harder to draw when they are real people, for some reason... also I keep confusing the time periods and hairs) and I at the MCR end of the spectrum and slowly branching out to other bands...
In the future, can I send you some sketches via email? to get some feedback?
*OMG, I am sure there was a fanish line I was not going to cross... but alas... I DID*

That it so awesome! I can't wait to see you doing bandom art :D
Of course you can e-mail me with anything.
Also, which webcomic? I only know
