I've come to realize that I watch Heroes this season mainly for the Molly, Matt and Mohinder bits...

So, before trying to make fanart an totally mangle poor Mohinder and Matt, I have icons to share.

Somehow I couldn't fit all three of them in one icon. Does anyone have a link to that beautiful set of pictures of the three of them, the one where they're both holding Molly? I've seen many versions of the same shot and Google has let me down.

No it's not. It's a picture taken while they were shooting "The Kindred", but it's a promotional picture.

There are a couple more pictures from the same series as the second one, but this one is the only one I have for the moment.

:D He! Hello! It's only 9:45 over here, so I still have hours and hours of internet time to use (before I ultimately cave at around 2 am...)

Here's something that really blew my mind: I was on a cruise ship through the Pacific once and we crossed the time zone limit *twice* so there was a day we had two times 17th of September A and then 17th of September B and on the way back there was a day we didn't have *at all* jumped right from the 20th to the 22nd! Also, when I'm in Japan, me and my mother will have a 12 hour difference, I will be getting up, and she'll be making dinner... of the day *before*!

Also, don't think I didn't notice you're totally trying to distract me with the gorgeous icons you're using...)

Your cropping and colouring is fantastic, unsurprisingly, but on my screen at least, they are oversharpened the lines of eyes, mouth, but also others stark and pixelated.

Really? How odd, I usually sharpen them a bit because they look blurry on my screen... but I see what you mean.

I think maybe I'm doing something wrong when I resize the image in Photoshop: it gets all blurry when I make it 100x100 and I have to sharpen it... and I probably sharpen it to much.

Do you have a particular method for resizing I should know about? (I'm rather new at making things so *small*)

Resizing loses sharpness and quality, as does twisting -- my banner, the one I just talked about in my LJ? I tilted it yet really had to compensate for the loss of clarity.

I know some folks work on 200x200 canvas and then re-size, but in my opinion, their icons tend to be over-sharpened, no matter how good they are otherwise. The only way to retain the sharpness of the image is working on 100x100 px from the beginning, zooming in when necessary.
