Fanart: Battlestar Atlantis

So some time ago thisissirius and I got together to participate in the artword Challenge 008: Alternate Universe.

The theme we chose was "Battlestar Atlantis" a crossover with the new Battlestar Galactica series. Unfortunately thisissirius's laptop died a horrible death and we were unable to complete the fanfic part of the challenge. So, I present to you BSA screencaps, graphics and a couple of icons, link to the fanfic to be added upon completion:



So, we start with the Battlestar Atlantis logo:



Then there is Teyla...






And John...







This was actually the hardest manip to make because I had to put his head *in* the helmet, behind the glass and with some reflection on it.


And Rodney!





Please take a minute to appreciate the fact that in BSA, RODNEY WEARS DOGTAGS!


And because I say so, Rodney and John kiss ;D



This is actually a manip from an earlier manip by me, the only thing is different is John's sleeve with the BSA logo.


And then I made some collages (click for larger image)...

Also, does amyone know why my theme isn't showing? The ccs seems fine, and I have not exeded my quota on the page hosting it. Seems to be fine now... weird.

WOW!! Haven't watched BSG (yet), but I love the idea and these manips are fantastic! Your hard work really shows on the helmet one (or rather, doesn't show because it's perfect). And everyone in Supernatural is talking about Winchester boys looking good in orange, but I say Rodney looks the best in it!!

*blush* thanks! I actually started manipping in this fandom and moved over to drawing, but somehow I always go back to manipping, it is just so much fun... you can make them do *anything*. Unfortunately it takes a lot longer to manip than to draw, so, being a lazy bum, draw more.

What's no to like about DOGTAGS? That was one of the reasons I chose that picture to manip Rodney, dogtags are *hot*. And they kiss, a lot, against the viper and in supply closets.

Battlestar Atlantis, yet another Battlestar they find on the way to Earth. Adama's really not sure about the fact that the hotshot frak-up pilot is running the Battlestar.
