Not that I will understand the answer, but what medium do you work in? What gives your work that lovely glow? The colors are just gorgeous. And of course, your subjects are delightful.

And I have to say again how much I adore Rodney and John as cats. That's definitely one of my favorites of your pieces.

Oh... actually it's just watercolors... only they're school supplies so the quality is not very good and I'm stuck with mostly primary colors that look like mud if you mix them with each other... The glow is me heightening the contrast of the scanned painting(with Photoshop) so the imperfections don't show too much.

Rodney and John as cats are love... John os based on my hyperactive new kitten and Rodney on my pedantic older cat. (They are both female... and gay... really.)

adore the ferris wheel especially, it's all glittery and magical, with the moonlight on water an inspired touch. and the expression on John's face was full of wonder and awe--amazing.

They're WONDERFUL!!! I love the little silhouette of John and Rodney, and the gorgeous colors in the Ferris Wheel drawing. I love Cadman/McKay, and the second is so adorable, and again with the gorgeous colors! I wonder how much grumbling Rodney did about his delicate brain before he let Laura wash his hair?

:D YAY! I'm so glad you liked them! I started thinking about the gift exchange and all I got was *fluff*. Somehow my mind went instantly to ferris wheels and bathtubs and since I couldn't decide, I made both.

Now, I have the originals and I could send them to you, but here in Venezuela the postal system is crap and there is a 50/50 chance they get stolen. Are you going to Pegasus 2 (or know someone who is going)? I could give them to you there (I know it's a long shot, but wouldn't I feel stupid if they get lost in the mail and then I meet you in England...)

Oh, that is *so* incredibly sweet of you! I would love to have them, but are you sure you're willing to give them up? I think actually that I *do* have friends who are going to Pegasus 2 that would probably be willing to mail them on (for a small ransom in Reese's Pieces). Let me ask, as I do get the cons confused (I'm in the US and have no hope of going to any European cons!). Oh, also, many apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

If you find someone who goes to the con (Thai Pegasus 2 in February, in London), I'll give them to your friend there, else, I'll see what I can do about mailing it from England... although I can't promise I'll have the time to go to the post office while there.
