Manip: 'X' by Trinityofone

Ok, trinityofone managed to push all my artistic buttons with her latest fanfic, X.

Written for the sga_flashfic challenge 'Superpowers', the fanfic is a wonderfully well meshed X-men Movieverse SGA Fusion, that every self-respecting SGA and X-Men fan should go and read immediately.

That said, on with the art:







Poor Radek looks like an alien monster and John looks incredibly angsty.

This is the emo!Rodney to go with the emo!John. Hmm leather.

The words 'Take a Stand' were part of the original advertising. I left them because: 1. They don't clash with the theme of the fanfic and 2. you could really tell where I had removed them and it looked really bad.

I wish I could have had my boys in more traditional Atlantis Uniform, but alas! This is as far as my manipping skills go.

OH MY GOD!!!!!

I am dead of awesome. Those are GORGEOUS. I love all three of them in the first one—Radek looks incredible, and Rodney haunting, and yeah, John's emo, but he IS emo, so it's perfect. And then OMG, Rodney in LEATHER. And with the claws. And did I mention the leather? I have GOT to get them into some of that!

So, in short: bliss! You rule. Thank you SO MUCH!

*grin* I just noticed that Rodney actually has the bulk to fill out Wolverine's outfit! So much Rodney love.

You absolutely have permission! It's your fantastic art; you don't even need to ask.

And Rodney totally has the bulk. That's the freaky thing—I mean, Hugh Jackman/Wolverine obviously works out more, but they're actually of a similar physical type. And you've seen Rodney's arms. Those are good arms to have.

Now, about the bribery for you to continue this, here's the carrot: I could draw the balcony scene between John and Rodney... or design a logo that's a cross of the Atlantis one(the one with the pegasus) with an 'X'... or make a moving icon out of the manips... or draw a scene you haven't told me about yet... or manip Lorne, Elizabeth and/or Teyla... tasty enough?

*drools* Yes! All very tasty! And I do want to write more. I just have to figure out what the second story would actually be about. I mean, as scattered as the first one was, I knew that I wanted it to loosely follow the first season and start with Elizabeth and Jack and end with Elizabeth and Daniel. But a S2 story...hmm. Maybe I should just start screwing around and see what happens? 'Cause damn, I'd love to see a Teyla drawing, or John & Rodney on the balcony...
