So, according to this poll, I should work on more John and Rodney art... and since I seem to like to take them on the most cliched vacations, I present:











Rodney: Next time, I pick where we go on vacation.

Hee! Rodney would be fantastic to be at Disneyworld with. You always need at least one bitter and cranky person, or else you die of saccharine overload. (Although it's good to have a John, who's just the right level of into it, too.)

:D I think John would drag Rodney to Disneyworld to irritate him with non-lethal stuff and get his mind of things (he would also enjoy sending every dressed-up character after him). And Rodney would complain the whole way (except when there is food and possibly hot tubs) and John would be uncharacteristically cheerful just to rub it in.

See, I can see them doing this on their earthside leave. What, it's not like they have anywhere else to go. Maybe visit Rodney's sister and eat a buncch of Chinese. Then John's flipping through the really old Yahoo! news logs and says, "hey, Disney is offering their tickets for half price." And off they go.

I think John would be terribly bored on Earth, while Rodney would try to work (so he doesn't have to visit his sister). And John would kidnap him to a "secret vacation"... poor Rodney, John is truly evil.

Aw. The art is lovely, and I would totally love to see a fic where they go and John keeps taking them on the fast rides and Rodney's eating mouse-shaped foods, pretzels and ice cream. ('Cause that's what I did the first time I went!)

There's a Smallville fic that I'll never forget where Clark and Lex go to Disneyland and Lex approaches it like a corporate takeover almost - there's a plan for getting the most mileage out of things, and I can totally see Rodney having figured out the percentages of when the rides are busiest and planned an itinerary based around that. *snort*

I have always thought that Atlantis looks like a fairytale castle, all towers and hidden rooms with magic doors. (which makes John with his pointy ears the resident elf)

I think Rodney probably had to bribe John with offering to have his picture taken with Pooh in order to get him to leave Space Mountain.
