:D Fanart: The Doctor, Martha, and the Master, meeting Rodney and Vala

This is another pic for those who requested stuff.

This time it's for trinityofone who wanted (I kidd you not) "The Doctor, Martha, and the Master, meeting Rodney and Vala as space pirates. Possibly at an alien cantina?"... Who can refuse *that*?





In the end I had them all meet at a fashionable restaurant instead of a cantina because really, it's neither the Master's not Rodney's style and the Doctor promised Martha he wouldn't take her to any more slums...

I'm really sorry that Vala looks sort of old and the Master looks like Rodney's younger brother for some reason...

I'd love to read about Martha, the Doctor and the Master... I imagine it would be filled with conversations like this:

Mar: I'm not calling you "Master"!
Mas: You call him "Doctor"!
Mar: a) He was here first. b) It's his time and relative dimension in space ride and c) it doesn't make me sound like slavery was never abolished.

I love all three of them to pieces...

THIS IS THE SINGLE GREATEST THING THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN.

I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. ONE, THAT YOU WOULD ACTUALLY TAKE MY CRAZY REQUEST SERIOUSLY, AND TWO, THAT YOU'D DO SOMETHING SO AWESOME! CAPSLOCK FOREVER!

Okay, not really, because there's a lot more I want to say, and there's such a thing as TOO MUCH capslock. It would be overkill, for example, as I listed all the things I especially loved:

1. Everyone's hair. Especially Martha's, the Doctor's, and Vala's. (She does not look old! She looks hot!)
2. Rodney's jacket.
3. The Doctor's tie.
4. The fact that the Master is looking STRAIGHT AT US OMG HE KNOWS SOMETHING WE DON'T AND OH NO I'M CAPSLOCKING AGAIN.
5. Everything!

:D I always take your crazy requests seriously! Even if I end up drawing for almost *a week*! AND THERE CERTAINLY ISN'T SUCH A THING AS TOO MUCH CAPSLOCK! I LOVE REDUCING (ENLARGING?) PEOPLE TO CAPSLOCK!

:D I'm glad you liked the hair! I'm especially proud of Martha's! You know, my mother came by and said "John's hair looks weird..." and then I had to show her the hotness that is David Tennant... she's so uneducated, the poor thing.

You know the first thing I conceived for this drawing was how the Master would be looking straight at the viewer sharing a secret... (or possibly a long suffering look over the insanity of *his* companions...)

Eee Vala and Martha flirting/gossiping! The Doctor looks so satisfied with himself (is it because of the genius sammich he is currently the filling for?)! The city outside those curvy windows!

Also, the Master as Rodney's younger brother--no wonder he's psychopathic. He's the sibling even Jeannie won't share credit with. The drums are actually the sound of Rodney drumming his fingers impatiently against his head when he was wee. He would make fun of the Doctor's hair this regeneration, out-talking even the Doctor, until John walks in. The Master and the Doctor look at John. They look at his hair. They look at Rodney. The Master looks at the Doctor's hair. They both look at John's hair again. Rodney turns red.

Actually, while it is John and Vala, the other three characters are from the British series "Doctor Who" in it's latest incarnation with David Tennant playing the Doctor and John Simm playing the Master.

And this is the coat I drew the Doctor in, it's actually from Season 2 of the New Doctor Who series.



I do think the Doctor's hair looks a lot like John's when I draw it! My mother was confused as well.

If you haven't had the chance to see the new Doctor Who, I can only recommend it! I love it!

Ok... I *loose* at writing comments... I meant: "while it is Rodney and Vala". *Head, desk*

And I would recommend watching Doctor Who before looking at Torchwood. Doctor Who has a lighter mood and is way funnier. I like Torchwood, but I like Doctor Who even more and I think my enjoyment of Torchwood is greater *because* I saw the other series first.
