Anouncing my mirror Journal and making art for those requesting...

Hey! I finished my thesis! And, if I say so myself, it was *fantastic*!

Anna: *explains her software*
Anna: Do you have any questions?
Examiner number 1: Not really.
Examiner number 2: No.
Examiner number 3: I like it... no questions.

So it was basically a really short thesis defense... and I got the highest possible grade! *SQUEES*

And (even though my mother volunteered me to play Kindergarten teacher *in German* to children the next 3 weeks...) I'M FREE!

I have created a mirror for this journal at anna_luna.greatestjournal.com. This is mostly because I'm a bit paranoid and don't have a webpage besides LJ. Feel free to friend me or comment on either.

And if you want me to draw something for you...

...I'd love to, with a few restrictions:

1. Only the first 15 people get fanart (I might play again in the next few days as the children are driving me insane and I need something to do to relax...).

2. 10 Drawings will be Stargate Atlantis drawings
5 Drawings will be of the following fandoms: due South, SG-1 and Doctor Who

3. You must give me a pairing (or moresome... i.e. Team Sheppard) and a setting or dialog. Both Het and Slash are fine. You may have me make fanart for a fanfic (yours or otherwise), but, you should give a scene to draw. Being specific is good.

4. I've only drawn Ray (ETA: RayK... *sucks at the new fandom*) and Fraser from due South, Sam, Cam and Vala from SG-1 and The 10th Doctor and Rose from Doctor Who... so all other characters will be *experimental*.

5. I love McShep, but I want some variety... so: of the 10 SGA drawings, a maximum of 6 can be strictly McShep (moresomes are fine for the other slots).

6. If you choose SG-1... I don't draw Jack and Daniel as a couple... I just don't... threesomes or moresome involving them are fine, as are team drawings.

If I completely confused you with the above rules, drop me a comment, I'll save you a drawing and answer your question.

NOW, REQUEST!

ETA: Requests made:

There are still 1 SGA requests to be made for fanart with a pairing other than McShep! C'on! There is Rodney/Ronon or Teyla/Sora... hell *Rodney*/Sora! Rodney/Teyla! ALL TAKEN! :D

SGA:

I'd like a scene with the Master and the Doctor standing on the deck of the Valiant, kissing or leaning on one another or just otherwise being close. It's raining or there is other precipitation--I'm not sure how high up the Valiant is, so it's possible that rather than actual precipitation they're standing inside a cloud. You can choose. It's sunset or sunrise, which we can see, meaning that it's not very heavy precipitation. (I haven't written any of it, but it's something I thought of today?)

But if you don't want to do Master/Doctor, here is a McShep prompt, from (well, all that I've written) of a story in which when they were in college, John sometimes posed for human figure drawing classes, and Rodney took one, only they didn't realize until they'd been in Atlantis for a while:

"I remember you, you know."

"...Yeah?"

"Sitting exactly like you are now, only the sun wasn't orange, and it was a little lower on the horizon."

"I don't remember that."

"It was years ago. You had that absurdly floppy hair and a constantly harassed expression, like old ladies had been hitting on you."

He propped himself up. The grass cushioned his elbow. "You didn't know me years ago."

"But you admit you had absurd hair!"

"It was the eighties. Everyone had big hair."

"Yours was like a Pekingnese. Like you had a dog on your head. Only darker."

John frowned. "Seriously, Rodney, what are you talking about?

~

...he can feel their pencils tracing him, touching him, the long caresses, the short, rough strokes, running down the curve of his back over and over, a hundred times, a thousand.

...Charcoal is rough, and pastel is soft, cray-pas, rich. When John goes around looking at their easels, the first thing he notices is their hands, the way graphite can be worked into the skin until it shines, the sharp relief where the folds between knuckles collect silvery-gray powder and rubs it smooth.

And congrats on your thesis. Sounds like you really rocked it. :-)
