Bye, bye SG-1

I just finished watching and it's 3:00 AM and now I can't sleep... oh, bother.
Some thoughts:
The Asgard, OMG! That was... just... unexpected, actually, and I keep thinking of Hermiod and how the Daedalus won't be the same without him. Maybe they'll get a holographic Hermie too?
Sam you were sweet and your hair looked nice in this episode, also points for the cello(maybe she's bothered that McKay knows how to play the piano?) But mostly you didn't shine, dear. The scene I liked the most was the one where you're brainstorming with Vala.
Cam, you were *so* funny, jogging and jogging and I specially liked the scene where you released your frustrations fighting with Teal'c. Ben, great acting. I also love that double take he did when he saw Vala leaving Daniel's room(bunk?), it was priceless... and I suspect, no matter how many times I see it, it will still be the funniest face *ever*. The mistletoe was also very cute. Of course Sam wasn't surprised, she cloned/materialized it for him. But I loved how naturally he bends to kiss Sam and how naturally she leans to kiss him. I'm a Sam/Cam shipper till the marrow of my bones and actually was hoping for more Cam/Sam, you know, getting together in time-dilation fields. But I guess it was too much to ask. Still, we have a canon *kiss* even if mistletoe induced and then time-deleted. But Cam, seriously, *50 years* and the only other female on board... what were you waiting for?
Now, I *adored* how they wrote the Daniel Vala scene (You all know which one). I loved stressed!I'm-trapped-in-a-ship!Daniel all irrational and frustrated and how they addressed the problems there could be in a relationship between them and Daniel's fear that Vala isn't serious and his honest wish not to be hurt again. They put it all in the open, it actually was like a good fanfic! There was character growth! And mid-sentence realizations! And real tears and... And a happy ending (ok, a temporal happy ending for my dear Vala, who I was convinced would end up *dead* at the end of this season)! I'm very happy with this. It could have been really badly done, either by making it to easy for them, or so hard they never get together, but this was just my kind of writing. Also Claudia, I love your acting, I think you're awesome. Also, you've mastered the art of crying prettily.
Also, the scene of Vala breaking and Daniel holding her was adorable, I can't help but imagine the same scene happened again at some time, only with the roles reversed.
Teal'c, I love you. I just do, only your hair is sort of ugly now, I hope you fix it with dye.
I want the fanfic where they all have children on the ship that will continue the research to get them out. And the one about how they end up teaching each other the things that they know, in order not to kill themselves out of boredom. Vala helping Sam had the right idea.
Finally, by SG-1, it's been 10 beautiful years, you've been a great companion and I will miss you.
