Fanart: John, Rodney, Sam and Dean for milenaa

milenaa drew me a beautiful picture of Rodney and a cat sleeping on the couch for my birthday, which was totally unexpected and wonderful and you should all go over there and admire it.

milenaa's birthday is December 17th, and mine is December 16th, because of the time difference from Venezuela to Germany, we have about 5 hours where we share a birthday. So it made me feel kind of bad that I had not finished her Christmas!Art!Present nor her Birthday!Art!Present in time.

Now they are finally done:

I know Rodney looks a little skinny, just think about it as an AU where they are both young and maybe live in a harem?

OMG... the old age, it is showing! My memory lapses, I've god gray hairs... it's all fixed now. :D

Milly(I hope you don't mind me calling you that...), my partner in crime, I have an idea for something new in the fandom, but I want to run it by you first... what would you say about a fanart remix challenge?

Artists who want to participate leave a comment. This means other participants are free to remix some of their art. The remix can be a change of POV, a change of medium (manip-->tradart, tradart-->vid, ...), a scene of something that happened before or after...

You think it could work/anybody'd be interested?

I think it's a neat idea! After the rush of christmas fic and art exchanges and deadlines has died down, I think there'd be quite a bit of interest.
Were you thinking of making it more like a challenge run in your lj, or set up with a community? If you'd like a community, I'd be happy to make you mod of the sgart_exchange comm. It's only slightly used *g* and it's sort of a similar theme.

BTW, would you like the original of your birthday pic? I just send out a pile of christmas mail today and remembered I hadn't offered before :)

Oh, a community would be great, as you have most of the better artists in sga_exchange anyway. And that way the community is used for something before next Christmas.

I would love the original of my pic and I have to offer your originals too, although I warn you, I was asleep when I started drawing John and Rodney and instead of drawing them on a paper, they ended up on the backcover of my drawing book... *head, desk* Also, the pretty colors, they only exist virtually.

But there could be a problem, the Venezuelan postal system is *bad* and about 25% of my letters get lost, even though I have a P.O. box, this goes for letters I send as well as letters I get, so it's a risk.

In February I'm going to Pegasus 2, you're not going by any chance? or know someone who is going? There we could do a direct exchange. Else we'll just have to take our chances with the mail.
